ST. JOSEPH’S UNIVERSITY, NEW YORK NAMED ONE OF US NEWS & WORLD REPORT’S BEST UNIVERSITIES

For more than a decade, St. 约瑟的 has ranked among the nation’s top universities in the Regional Universities – North category, moving up a few spots on this year’s list.

Landing at #45 of top universities, SJNY also received accolades as the #19 Best College for 退伍军人 and #39 for Social Mobility.

2022年4月, President Boomgaarden announced that the New York State Board of Regents had approved St. 约瑟的 College’s petition to be elevated to university status, and would change its name to St. 约瑟的 University, New York. An historic moment for the more than century-old institution, it marked the beginning of St. 约瑟的 next chapter as a mission-driven institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition that provides a strong academic and value-oriented education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and supports provision for career preparation and enhancement.

With campuses in Brooklyn, Long Island and 在线, SJNY was selected to this year’s list of top Regional Universities–North based on its high graduation and retention rates, financial resources per student, peer assessment and student-to-faculty ratio, as well as the number of veterans enrolled and eligibility in the 9/11 GI® Bill Yellow Ribbon Program.
